The Journey Continues

Wow, it's been a while. I have been both busy and distracted, but I'm back and I have plans.

Currently I am continuing my long standing position with KOTMFFL as their photographer for the Summer League. I couldn't be happier that Yenrick has been such a huge support system for me. The league starts up this weekend and I cannot wait. I'm truly so excited!!!! I couldn't be more grateful or appreciative of the flag football community. I feel like I have this HUGE family out their and it's something I look forward to each week.

I have a few semi pro games under my belt now and I believe that although I have a long way to go, I think I have gotten a bit better when it comes to the photo results. I love tackle football. The sounds and the energy of the environment are insane!!! I always get super excited whenever any of the teams book me for a game. I want to do more so bad!

I attended an amazing event held by Brian Lee a couple months ago. He put on a showcase for the youth of Toledo and the turn out was amazing. Alicianna Syroka Photography covered the High School kids and I got the wonderful task of covering the Middle Schoolers. All the kids were determined and hard working and Brian, along with the rest of the coaches there, were super inspiring to watch interact with the kids. I can't thank BLee enough for giving me that opportunity, and I hope it leads to more youth football bookings in the future!

Recently I had an old high school friend reach out and book me for an anniversary party for her parents. It was super weird seeing some of the guests, because I haven't seen them in about 11 years. I had a really great time though and felt very honored that I was the one chosen to capture those memories.

I'm super excited about an announcement I hopefully still have coming up. I am supposed to be collaborating with a personal trainer who is possibly letting me use their new gym for some studio space. As the year progresses, I think this could be a really great opportunity for me to continue to book family and portrait sessions in a studio setting. I will admit I dropped the ball on staying in contact with my friend and I am reaching out today actually to make sure we are still on the same page. Keep your fingers crossed for me on this one please!!!

I have a lot of ideas for my business and I really hope I can focus and organize my thoughts so I have the best chance possible at succeeding in going full time with photography and videography. Being new at the business side of it has made me fall victim to the frustration and stress that comes along with the inevitable lulls that can happen while being a photographer. I do have some ideas for those times and I just am really hoping this all works out. I love photography so much, I would honestly be devastated if it didn't work out for me.

Bye for now
